Where it all began... July 23, 1998. The day before the events in Resident Evil will unfold. Following a bizarre succession of murders in the Aklay Mountains, Raccoon City Police Department send six members of the elite S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team to investigate. On their way to the scene the Bravo helicopter crashes. Although everyone survives the team discover a horrifying site. Before them lies a half-destroyed military transport truck with corpses of several navy officers, all gruesomely killed and mangled. The remains are identified and the dead officers are accounted for. Except for one - Captain Billy Coen. Under orders from Commander Enrico, Bravo Team set out to investigate Coen's disappearance. But little does the Team know that this is the start of a terrifying nightmare.
