No. You can sell as many or as few items as you like. Whether you are selling a single game or a larger collection, our trade-in service makes it quick and easy.
All items sent to TradeInForCash are checked to ensure they match the condition described when the order was placed. If an item does not meet our quality checks, we will contact you with a revised offer. You can choose to accept the updated price, have the item returned to you, or ask us to recycle it responsibly.
Yes. We accept games and other items without the original case, manuals or box. Please note that missing packaging or accessories may reduce the trade-in value.
All items sent to TradeInForCash are checked to ensure they match the condition described during the order process. If the condition differs, we will contact you with a revised offer. You can choose to accept the updated price or have your item returned to you. In most cases, items can be returned free of charge. However, if items are intentionally misdescribed (for example heavily damaged, non-working or incorrect items), we may charge a reasonable return fee depending on the size of the order. Alternatively, you can choose for us to recycle the item responsibly at no cost.
Items must meet our basic quality requirements to be accepted. If an item is heavily damaged or does not meet our terms and conditions, it may not qualify for trade-in. If you are unsure about the condition of your item, please check our full terms and conditions or contact us before sending it.
Yes. In some categories we offer higher prices for items that are new or in like-new condition. Simply select the appropriate condition when placing your order.
You can sell up to two copies of the same item per order. If we believe additional orders are being placed to bypass this limit, the order may be cancelled. If you have a larger quantity of the same item to sell, please contact us and we may be able to arrange a bulk price.
If you have forgotten to include some items in your parcel, please contact our support team as soon as possible. We will advise you on the best way to send the missing items or update your order if needed.
Once an order has been completed, it cannot be modified to include additional items. If you wish to sell more items, simply create a new order.
There is no strict time limit for sending your items after placing an order. However, if we do not receive your items within 7 calendar days, the quoted trade-in price may change depending on current market value.
TradeInForCash accepts games in PAL / Region 2 format and in English. If you have games from other regions, please contact our support team before sending them to us.
We may accept ex-rental or promo copies. Please contact our customer service team before sending these items so we can confirm eligibility.
For each item you add to your basket, you will receive a postage credit. If you use our Freepost service, the postage is covered by TradeInForCash.
Currently, we only accept trade-ins from customers within the United Kingdom.
If you believe your parcel has been lost in the post, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We will investigate the shipment with Royal Mail and advise you on the next steps.
You can choose from PAYPAL or Bank Transfer. Our order processing times are usually between 4 and 7 business days once items were delivered.
It is possible that we have not yet received all of your items at this time. If you sent in your items in more than one parcel it may be possible that they have not yet all arrived even if you posted them at the same time.
At TradeInForCash, our aim is to help you get cash for your unwanted items. That’s why we may still be able to make an offer on products that are not currently listed on our website. If you can’t find your item, simply use our “Sell Other Items” form and our team will research it. We will let you know within 72 hours if we are able to make you an offer.
