Project X Zone 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, bringing together characters from numerous different universes for a tactical RPG extravaganza. It includes characters primarily from the stables of Capcom, Bandai Namco and SEGA including Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Ace Attorney, Streets of Rage, Tekken. There's an added treat, however, with Nintendo throwing its hat into the ring with the additions of Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem: Awakening and Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles. There are no less than 58 playable characters in all!
Set after the events of Project X Zone, this sequel sees a portal between worlds open uncontrollably, causing universes to collide once again. Heroes, villains and monsters clash as Shinra, an organisation charged with protecting humanity from just this sort of catastrophe, tries to repair the damage.
Players manoeuvre characters across frantic battlefields in real-time combat scenarios, putting together 'Pair Units' and a 'Solo Unit' to create powerful attacks. With a range of characters that includes everyone from Phoenix Wright to Ryu from Street Fighter, there are bound to be some surprises!
