Humankind is an epic 4X strategy game that looks set to give the mighty Civilization series a run for its money. It gives you the run of all human history to combine cultures and build a civilisation that's as unique and weird as you are. With this Heritage Deluxe Edition players also get a content boost in the form of the Cultures of Africa, Cultures of Latin America and Notre-Dame packs, making this the deepest version of the game to date. You start pre-civilisation and even pre-agriculture in the neolithic era (where you can hang out for a surprising amount of time, should you so choose). From there you'll move through the ancient societies right through to the modern day. As you progress, you can bring elements of up to 60 different cultures into the mix, from the Babylonians to the Classical era Mayans through to early modern Britain and beyond. Fame plays an important role as you carve out your story across the millennia. Every moral choice you make, every great deed you accomplish, every battle you win contributes to your fame, and the player who makes the deepest mark on the world wins the game. Combat plays out like a board game, enabling you to unstack armies and command your units. Build siege weapons to capture and occupy cities and tackle epic, multi-turn battles that will ring down the centuries. You also get your own leader avatar to customise, with new looks unlocking as you progress through the centuries.
