Hello Neighbor 2 takes the nail-biting stealth and survival horror of its predecessor and massively ups the scale with an open world. Suddenly, it's not just a house or two that you're creeping around - it's the entire town of Raven Brooks. You play as Quentin, an investigative journalist who has heard the stories about Mr Peterson, the returning antagonist of the series. He does what an investigative journalist does and gets down to business. Business, for this case, involves sneaking around the houses of multiple residents of Raven Brooks, with each promising the chance of capture, each effectively serving as its own puzzle and each threatening you with discovery at every turn. Sometimes the solution to a given puzzle might not even be in the house you're in, effectively turning the entire town into a puzzle box. Once again, the enemy AI is the star of the show. It will learn from you play, boarding up windows or barricading doors, ensuring that the same strategy won't work twice. Now, though, it's not just Mr Peterson that benefits from this uncanny intelligence - it's other residents such as the sinister guest. Now, there's murder around every corner...
