Miitopia was a bit of a mystery outside Japan for a while, but it turns out to be a delightfully bizarre mash-up of StreetPass Quest, Tomodachi Life and JRPG elements. You play by gathering up your friends' Miis and giving them jobs and personalities, which then go on to be their abilities and class in an epic adventure that only Nintendo could have come up with! As in StreetPass Quest, there are monsters to be fought on your quest, but Miitopia offers more sophisticated turn-based combat. They could be pretty much anything, from space goblins to evil moles to ham sandwiches! The baddies have stolen the faces of other Miis, but if you outdo them in combat you can return their faces to whence they came. Lurking behind all this is a dark wizard, and even that murky magician can be one of your friends' Miis! It's not all questing and combat, though. The game also has a place where your Miis can relax, much like Tomodachi Life. You can try to keep them happy, and happier Miis will do better on the field of battle. This is a battle you and your friends can truly only have on your 3DS!
