"The DreamWorks Animation team famous for kid-friendly animations like Shrek, Madagascar, How To Train Your Dragon and Monsters vs. Aliens have teamed up with Activision for a wacky kart racing game for the entire family. Using well-known characters from the DreamWorks line-up including Shrek, Donkey, Alex, King Julien, Hiccup, B.O.B. and others players will battle their way around a variety of courses and tracks. These include familiar locations such as Shrek's Swamp, the New York City Zoo and the Island of Berk! Modes included with DreamWorks Super Star Kartz include Quick Races, Circuit Mode and Challenge Mode. Up to four people can play at the time time against each other wirelessly in multi-card play on the Nintendo DS. Each mode also comes with the ability to collect power-ups such as the one that gets a real a speed boost or the one that launches special projectiles against opponents. It's not all about the racing though, as the players can also perform crazy stunts, jumps, and tricks that showcase each of the included character's unique personalities and skills."
